Margaritas Fresh Mex in Auburn

fries were, as the young people say "busting"! wings were great size but... they need to upgrade the sauce and maybe ask clients if they want them wet or fried hard. My wings were dry. I almost drove all the way back for more sauce. BUT service and atmosphere is great. Sweet tea good. plate and portion size is good too. Will go back.

Margaritas were good, the free Chip and salsa was average. Service was slow but we had a big group and entered about 10 minutes after they opened. Overall I would go back

This place is phenomenal!The bartender, Dez, is basically what has me coming back over & over since I found this place 6 months ago!I moved to Auburn last year. This place is soooo close to home and such amazing service, awesome food, and great staff!Dez, The Best Bartender of All Time, is a great person with epic skills slinging drinks!

Pretty good place first trial went well.

Great food and a nice and friendly staff. We will be returning to have dinner there in the weeks to come. This will be our new Mexican restaurant of choice. They do need new menus for they are old. However everything else was on point.

Great place. Nice menu and decor. Salsa had good mix of spice and was not too chunky. Have good lunch deals. Cheese and beef on nachos were much better than a lot of other places around. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back!

New menu's got some funky stuff and some good changes. Wait staff is always eager and polite. I've had a lot of good lunches with a friend there.

Great food and Dez is perfect server

This is THE BEST Mexican food in the Metro Atlanta Area!! There is a certified Chef leading the kitchen and career pros taking care of hospitality. “Fresh” is the key!

Decent food, good to support a local business

WoW, this is my first time here and sat at the bar (early Thursday dinner). Britney helped me out and give a few recommendations even though I didn't pick the first one, I am very happy and please with my meal. I don't know if there it is such thing as perfection but the cantina burrito (chicken and pork) was marvelous and the sweet plantains were the happy ending! A must try!

The food is delish. Good atmosphere. Took awhile to get our menus or drinks. We mainly order to go.

Service was good, but the food wasn't great at all. They got my order wrong, and even then it was mediocre at best. If the best thing I can say about a Mexican restaurant is that the fries are good... There's a problem.

I’ve eaten here twice this week. Today at lunch a new young man named Alex waited on me. A great addition to the great staff already there. Food was great as well. A couple of weeks ago I ate here and witness a wonderful site having grandchildren of my own, a young man wiping down the high chairs. Restaurant always clean.NOW, in response to the person who left comments about the taco t-shirts. America as the tacos are GREAT AGAIN. Thank you for making it a political issue!Margarita’s keep doing a GREAT JOB!Now I will for sure buy a taco t-shirt.

Good food, good prices, good service. What's not to love?

I love yall but what's with the make tacos great again shirts?! Tacos have always been great and I would like to enjoy them without politics being involved.

This has to be the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. My wife and I thought it might be a nice place to take our two children. Had never been to this place before. The service was OK, but the food must have been bad. We all had dinner. Within a few hours of getting home, we all got sick within an hour of each other. From both ends. We all had tacos and enchiladas. The fact that we all got sick was no anomaly. Getting sick like this during a pandemic speaks volumes about this place. Never ever again. I hope the owners realize that when a place is good, you tell a friend. When it's bad, you tell the world. Beware people, please beware.

Well we sat outside and never got waited on. So we left. But food is good when we have eaten there in the past ..

Excellent Tex-Mex style food. Easy, laid back atmosphere. The empanadas are the Best!

Shrimp fajita nachos. Shrimp was perfectly cooked everything fresh and crisp. Highly recommend.

I'm a regular here. The Margaritas are really awesome. They live up to their name!!! If you enjoy the 70s and 80s music your going to live this place. I love to sit and drink and listen to awesome music!!! Good times!!! The only thing is they are stingy on napkins. Other than that great food great atmosphere!!!

Food was not what we expected at all. Cold, chewy, chips we're stuck together and was a huge pile of burnt tasting, soggy mush. Very little queso and the meats were very rubbery. Sadly we held this place to high standards and we're instantly let down. This is like the 20th Mexican food establishment we've tried around Winder. All have disappointed us.

Says takeout only, but no one ever picks up the phone. Too bad

You can tell alot about a mexican restaurant by the salsa they serve goes in my top 5 great food as well

A friend and I went for taco tuesday!3 tacos for 5.99 and the corn tortillas were soft and fresh and delicious!!!!

Our family of 3 had a wonderful lunch today. This was our first visit to Margaritas Fresh Mex. Great Food. Great Service from Chris who was willing to change the channel to the Braves game. We will be back. The place is spotless. 100A on the Restaurant report Georgia Dept of Health. Everything was delicious our tacos and chicken enchilada and especially the desserts...Best tacos anywhere. Check out Taco Tuesday $1 Tacos!

One of my favorite restaurants for good Mexican food. The reason I give this restaurant such high marks and praise is that they do what a lot of restaurants can not do and that is to be consistantly good. That's why when I'm in the mood for good Mexican food and adult beverages they are my go to resturant.

The chef is a graduate from cordon Bleu, every dish is made fresh. They care about their customers, their food, and their restaurant and it shows! We enjoy eating there very much!!

Margaritas is working on filling up their low staff. Lots of New staff but they are trying very hard to learn the ropes. Margaritas has $1.50 taco's on Tuesday nights, & $1.50 enchilada's on Thursday. Wings Wednesday, buy 10 get 10 free. Live music Tuesday nights.

At first glance I was a little hesitant to try this place. I finally tried it and it's soooooooo good!!! Especially the cheese dip, the cheese they use is a really good one. I ordered a Margarita it was a little strong but still was very good!!! The refried beans are real beans and the rest of my plate was as good!!!Definitely will be back again!!!

Was invited out to Fresh Mex and really, really enjoyed myself. The atmosphere is absolutely awesome and the people truly the best...Wasn't sure as to what to order but Dez, the bartender intervene suggesting a chicken dish that was A1. She was awesome, had a bubbly attitude, smiling face; with great customer service skills, an absent art these days...My new home and I will be back!..

There's a reason why they put FRESH in the name of this place... Everything tastes that way!! I had an inexpensive lunch combo & it was freshly prepared like a full price dinner entree 🤩

Fresh Mex says it all. Great food. Wonderful Staff. Lots of fun deals like Taco Tuesday, and Enchilada Thursday.

I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews.. but this is deserved. Very poor service by our waitress. Not one drink refill, had to find our own napkins. The food was not worth the $. Definitely won't be back.
